TYLOO signs RRQ Academy duelist splash, who awaits VCT eligibility.
TYLOO has acquired the young Indonesian prospect Moses “splash” Christophe Jonathan, according to Sheep Esports. The Duelist made his name at the RRQ Academy, where he quickly established himself as one of Southeast Asia's most promising talents. His transfer was received by NEXGA - the agency that represents him and also houses its own competitive roster - with a buyout reportedly over $50,000.
Despite the significant investment, splash will have to wait until next year to make his debut in VCT China, because he has not yet reached the minimum age required to take part in the VALORANT Champions Tour. He turns 18 on August 14, making it likely we’ll see him in action during the OFF//SEASON tournaments.
Stopped competing in late March
Despite only finishing in the top 7 during Split 1 of the Challengers Southeast Asia, splash stood out with his dynamic playstyle and strong statistics. In that tournament, he ranked among the top performers across multiple metrics, posting a 251.9 ACS and a 1.20 K/D ratio. He replicated this form during the Global Esports’ 2025 Fight Night: Academy, facing off against the academy squads of Global Esports and DRX. He dominated in Average Combat Score, finishing with a staggering 321.0—over 50 points ahead of the runner-up.
For his transition into the professional scene, splash joins a struggling TYLOO roster in VCT China, which has managed just two wins in seven matches across the season's first two stages, the Kickoff and Stage 1. These consecutive bottom-place finishes have prompted a necessary shakeup within the Chinese organization, further compounded by the departure of star player Zhang “zjc” Juncheng to reigning world champions EDward Gaming.
