OLIZERA and Famsii are back to UCAM
UCAM Esports Club has almost finalized the construction of its roster for the VALORANT Challengers League Spain 2026. The team will field an entirely renewed lineup composed of newly arrived players as well as former members of the organization. The project will be led by Jose "Bromas" González as head coach, sources tell Sheep Esports.
The roster will include two players who joined the team recently for post-season tournaments: Michał "BULD" Sokal and Vitaliy "B1SK" Emelyanov. Two of the other players have previously competed for the Spanish organization at different times in their careers. Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira and Ramses "Famsii" Koivukangas will return to the lineup. The fifth player should be announced soon.
A new direction
Last season, the Spanish organization secured strong standings in the VCL, yet failed to claim any titles or convert its performance into a qualification for VCT Ascension EMEA. The team finished second in Stage 2 and qualified for the VCL Spain Rising Finals, but ultimately fell 3–0 to DNSTY, ending its hopes of reaching the Ascension tournament.
In an effort to secure better results, the team has brought in the coach who led DNSTY during that same period last year. Bromas, an experienced VCL coach in recent seasons, will join UCAM to help the roster reach the next level after coming close to qualifying for VCT before his team’s decisive loss to BBL PCIFIC.
Two former UCAM players from 2023–2024 will also return to the club: OLIZERA and Famsii. The former comes back to the VCL after an unsuccessful stint with APEKS, while the latter followed a trajectory similar to his new coach—moving from HGE Esports to DNSTY mid-year and narrowly missing qualification. The two other players joined the team only recently: BULD was brought in to compete in the Red Bull Home Ground qualifiers, while B1SK arrived shortly afterward to play Project Blender with the team. Both will be retained and will aim to further elevate UCAM next season.
