A young Polish talent to open PCIFIC’s new chapter
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Patryk "NINJA" Koczyba has reached a verbal agreement with PCIFIC Esports for the upcoming 2026 VALORANT season. The Polish player first made a name for himself in 2024 on the East Surge circuit, where he notably competed in the second split of Challengers 2024 East: Surge with Chipi Chapa’s, securing his first structured results within the official ecosystem.
At the start of 2025, NINJA took a significant step forward by joining Team Liquid Academy, as the organisation unveiled its first VALORANT academy roster. Under their banner, he played through the entire 2025 Challengers circuit, including appearances in Challengers 2025 NORTH//EAST Stage 2 and Stage 3, then Challengers EMEA 2025 Stage 1 and Stage 3, as well as several offseason events at the end of the year with a different mix, giving him consistent exposure at the EMEA level in a young initiator role.
At just 19 years old, he is now regarded as a Team Liquid Academy prospect, with a first full year of Challengers behind him and a profile that would logically fit PCIFIC’s intention to build around a young player with long-term development in mind.
From promotion to a full project rebuild
For PCIFIC, the 2025 season marks a major turning point, both through its partnership with BBL Esports and through its competitive results. Under the BBL PCIFIC tag, the affiliated Turkish structure strung together steady performances in Challengers EMEA throughout the season, culminating in a victory at VCT Ascension EMEA 2025 and, alongside ULF Esports, one of the two promotion slots into VCT EMEA for 2026. That run cemented a five built around Ali "Crewen" Eren Sargın, Yusuf "Lar0k" Kaan Kanber, Utku "Loita" Kart, Eren "Rosé" Erzan, and Umut "lovers rock" Pekdoğan.
Following that promotion, BBL officially announced that it would sign the entire BBL PCIFIC roster for the 2026 VCT EMEA season, integrating all five players into its main structure. While this decision represents a clear milestone for the former PCIFIC lineup, it also leaves the original organisation without an active roster heading into 2026.
PCIFIC Esports must therefore start from scratch in VCT EMEA, with the need to rebuild a complete lineup to honour its place at the highest regional level. In this context, the potential arrival of a young player already accustomed to the EMEA Challengers environment, such as Patryk "NINJA" Koczyba, would fit naturally into the logic of a new cycle, with the 2025 promotion as legacy, but an entirely blank roster page to rewrite for 2026.
