FURIA’s 2025 snapshot
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, confirming the information of RocketBullets, Michael “nerve” Yerrow has reached a verbal agreement with FURIA for the 2026 VALORANT VCT Americas. In 2025, the American player was competing in VCL NA with QoR. Born in the United States, nerve has primarily operated as a Flexible rifler within the NA Challengers and Tier 3 ecosystems. With QoR, he was capable of selecting any agent the team needed and making a difference. Since 2020, the North American player has played for several domestic teams, including Disguised, Soniqs, Third Impact, and QoR, while grinding the Tier 2 circuit.
In May 2025, he stood in for KRÜ Esports during the Esports World Cup qualifiers. He took part in a series of VCL NA Stage 3, ultimately losing in the lower final after a 2-3 defeat against TSM at the Ascension Gate, losing. Examining his stats reveals some very convincing performances: not a single agent rating is below 0.98 over the last 90 days, and his best rating is 1.25 with 224.6 ACS on Omen.
A global overhaul
For their part, FURIA’s 2025 VCT Americas season was challenging from start to finish. They placed 9th–12th in the Americas Kickoff, and 11th–12th in Stage 1. In mid-season, the organization decided to shake the roster and unveiled a new lineup for the EWC qualifier: Olavo “heat” Marcelo, Lorenzo “Loss” de Biazzi, Victor “Urango” Rodrigues, Arthur “tuyz” Vieira, and Gabriel “woddy” Cressoni. But the changes weren’t enough: FURIA finished 9th in the Esports World Cup Americas Qualifier. The team then played the Stage 2 Davi “Palla” Alcides and Benjamín "adverso" Poblete to replace Loss and woddy, but once again 11th-12th in the Stage 2.
This move comes as part of a wider reshuffle within the Brazilian squad. FURIA have already announced the exits of Palla and heat, and according to reports from TheSpike.GG, tuyz and Victor “Urango” Rodrigues are also not expected to stay for the upcoming season. For now, it appears that only Luiz “basic” Tessaro, along with coaches Ian “shaW” Jardim and Lucas “Kamino” Kamino, will remain with the team.
