Jesse already played a few months with UCAM in 2021
UCAM Esports Club’s roster for next year is now complete. The Spanish organisation has confirmed its final signing after securing the first four players of its lineup as well as its head coach, as previously reported by Sheep Esports last week. The team will round out its roster with Adam "Jesse" Čtvrtníček, according to Sheep Esports sources.
With Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira, Ramses "Famsii" Koivukangas, Michał "BULD" Sokal, and Vitaliy "B1SK" Emelyanov already in place, the team is now fully assembled and will be coached by Jose "Bromas" González as it aims to dominate the VALORANT Challengers League Spain.
A dominant roster for the region?
UCAM’s roster for next season will feature three former players: following OLIZERA and Famsii, Jesse now makes his return to the organisation, with whom he competed in part of the Rising Series in 2021. He will also reunite with Bromas, who coached him on Valiant between 2023 and 2024.
The Czech Controller player had been seeking a new team after a season that ended in a failed attempt to qualify for VCT through the Ascension tournament. Jesse began the year in VCL France with Joblife, where he notably won Stage 1. Following difficulties in Stage 2, he left the team and moved to the MENA region with Twisted Minds. There, he won the regional grand final and qualified for EMEA Ascension, though the team was eliminated after losing in the group stage to Mandatory.
Looking for a new opportunity, he now joins UCAM, which is coming off a strong season that nonetheless fell short of a breakthrough. After finishing as a finalist in Stage 2, the team secured a spot in the regional Rising Finals, but suffered a decisive loss to DNSTY and therefore missed out on Ascension. In an effort to take the next step and potentially qualify for VCT next year, the organisation has brought in several established VCL players—Jesse among them.
