Sheep Esports sources have confirmed that a verbal agreement has been reached between Gentle Mates and the hyped 17-year old Turkish rookie, Berkcan "ComeBack" Şentürk.

ComeBack will be making his debut in the Tier 1 VCT league for the first time after finding repeated success after success in the VALORANT Challengers Türkiye. There, on PCIFIC Esports and its rebranded BBL PCIFIC roster, ComeBack dominated the Tier 2 scene. With PCIFIC, ComeBack has won every single tournament he’s played in over 2025, including two splits of VALORANT Challengers Turkiye, as well as VALORANT Challengers EMEA Stage 1.

In 2024, ComeBack made it to the finals in the VCT Ascension EMEA tournament, narrowly missing a promotion into Tier 1 then in a 2-3 close series. Now, ComeBack is set to finally make his anticipated debut at the highest level.

A new opportunity

Gentle Mates hasn’t found the success in VCT they’ve been looking for over the past two years. Never finishing above eighth, the French organization found their worst result this past tournament, placing 11th-12th in Stage 1 of VCT 2025.

With this promising rookie, the team will look to turn their results around going forward.
