According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Corbin “C0M” Lee has reached a verbal agreement with Evil Geniuses for the upcoming VCT Americas 2026 season. Sources say other NA teams had also shown interest in the American player. This move will see him return to the EG roster banner. He will be joining his former coach, Christine “potter” Chi. They won the VALORANT Champions 2023 trophy together.

C0M was a key part of Evil Geniuses' successful 2023 campaign. That season, EG surged from dark-horse status to achieve international dominance, reaching the latter stages of both LOCK//IN São Paulo and Masters Tokyo before ultimately capturing the world title at Champions 2023. Renowned for his reliability in both supportive and flex roles, C0M's performance was crucial to EG's success in mid-rounding and their ability to perform under pressure throughout that historic year, before he joined Leviatán in January 2024.

A new Era For EG

This year, C0M was playing for LEVIATÁN, establishing himself as a reliable team player. But his time at EG remains he pinnacle of his career to date, with the 2023 Champions triumph and other notable international finishes that season. If finalized, C0M’s return would see the organization reunited with one of the architects of its championship identity.

Recruiting a player who played a key role in the 2023 success could help Evil Geniuses rebuild and re-establish a competitive core ahead of the new season. This follows a fifth-sixth place finish with Leviatán as Initiator in VCT Americas Stage 2 and a year for the player characterized by many clutch and insane plays, known mainly this year on Sova with a rating of 1/178.4 ACS and Fade 0.91/154 ACS.

The American player could be an asset for Evil Geniuses following the recent departures of Jaccob ”yay” Whiteaker and Nicholas ”NaturE” Garrison.
