Tier 1 player arrives at Galions
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka has reached a verbal agreement with Galions for the upcoming 2026 season of Challengers France. After several seasons at the highest level in Europe, he began 2025 with DNSTY in VALORANT Challengers Spain: Rising. With DNSTY, he competed in both Split 1 and Split 2 in Spain, reaching the grand final of the first split and securing a 3rd–4th place finish in Split 2 after a 2–3 loss to KOI Fénix in the semifinals.
Midway through the year, baddyG joined KOI, who opted to rebuild their roster ahead of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, marking his return to the VCT ecosystem after his stint in Challengers Spain. He was accompanied by Nathan "nataNk" Bocqueho and Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů. The remainder of the year proved challenging: KOI finished 9th–10th in VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 and 9th–10th in the Esports World Cup 2025 EMEA Qualifier. Following this split, Riot Games decided to remove KOI from the league, which led to the entire roster being moved to the bench.
Foundations of a French VCL project
Before considering the addition of an experienced player such as baddyG, Galions first laid the groundwork for their entry into VALORANT. According to an initial report from Sheep Esports, the French organization is set to make its debut in VALORANT Challengers League France in 2026 by taking over the slot previously held by Karmine Corp Blue Stars, after they decided to withdraw from the league. To launch the project, Galions first secured its head coach: Adil "elemeNt" Maufroid, a well-known figure in the French ecosystem, coming off a year in VCL France with Valiant that culminated in a Split 2 title following a final victory over KCBS, before a difficult run in Challengers EMEA.
A few days later, Povilas "roxie" Krivelis had reached a verbal agreement to join Galions for the 2026 Challengers France season, as the in-game leader. The Lithuanian also arrives after a full year with Valiant in VCL. The project also builds on the momentum of its League of Legends roster, born from the merger between Team GO and the project of streamer Maxime "Sixen" Tchoroukian, which reached the quarterfinals of EMEA Masters Summer 2025 before the organization turned its attention to VALORANT. In this context, adding an experienced profile like baddyG would fit coherently into a project designed to be competitive from the outset, with the ambition of quickly contending at the top.
