DUO EXPECTED TO REPLACE SYM AND RECOIL
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Alvin "Alvinboy" Hong and Timothé "Timotino" Lavigne Dupont have verbally agreed to join the TSM VALORANT lineup. They will replace Tyler “Sym” Porter and Awab “Recoil” Hussain in the starting roster. TSM is making these changes after a 5th–6th place finish in the VALORANT Challengers North America Stage 2 last month. Earlier today, the team announced the departure of Sym and Recoil following the result.
19-year-old Sentinel Alvin 'Alvinboy' Hong is a Canadian player who most recently competed with Burger Boyz. He helped the team secure a nice third place in the VALORANT Challengers 2025 North America Stage 2 tournament this spring. Alvinboy has been a rising star in the tier 2 scene and has won multiple smaller events with Burger Boyz over the past year.
Timothé “Timotino” Lavigne Dupont, aged 17, is another Canadian talent who was most recently on QoR's roster as Duelist. He started in the Challengers league this year, achieving a top-eight finish in Stage 1 of the North American Challengers with QoR. He continued with them into Stage 2 but became a free agent when the team failed to reach the later playoff stages. Despite his young age, he has already gained competitive experience in regional tournaments and proven his abilities against other Challengers teams.
TSM will integrate these two new players as they prepare for the next phase of the competition. The team's revamped roster is expected to debut in Stage 3 of the Challengers Circuit in early July.
