Trymbi is back in LEC
After a year off from the LEC, Support Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus is back in the EMEA region. The Polish player is expected to make his return with Team BDS, sources tell Sheep Esports on Friday. With this move, Trymbi will join his fifth European team since his arrival in the LEC in 2021.
Looking for a replacement after allowing current support Polat “Parus” Çiçek to explore his options, Team BDS quickly turned to Trymbi. The Polish support had just completed a year in LTA South with Vivo Keyd Stars, a stint that included a Worlds qualification. Alongside BDS, his former team also submitted an offer, as Trymbi had originally signed only a one-year deal. Natus Vincere expressed interest as well, but he was not their top priority; they ultimately moved forward with Parus instead.
Another strong candidate considered by Team BDS was Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé, who had recently parted ways with Karmine Corp following their acquisition of Support Alan “Busio” Cwalina.
A safe pick for BDS
After a disappointing year and below expectations in terms of results, Team BDS are looking to start the year 2026 on a new footing. After a difficult summer split collectively, concluded with a 0-3 playoff loss to GIANTX, BDS started their offseason by looking at botlane alternatives and retain most of their topside with Shin "Rooster" Yun-hwan, who had just arrived before the start of the Summer split. The support position will therefore be the first change made by the Swiss organization.
BDS chose a safe bet, accustomed to the LEC and who has delivered good performances wherever he has played. Arriving in the biggest European league in 2021 with Rogue and Steven "Hans sama" Liv as a mentor on the botlane, Trymbi won the LEC and reached Worlds quarterfinals a year later alongside Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos. During his time in LEC, he played Worlds three years in a row, twice with Rogue and once with Fnatic.
His last experience in the LEC was with Team Heretics, where he and his team failed to achieve significant results. After that, he chose to leave Europe for the LTA South. Despite a rocky start, Vivo Keyd Stars eventually won the third split of their region and qualified for Worlds. After a victory against PSG Talon, the team was eliminated from the competition.
In a recent interview for Sheep Esports, the player had assured that he was not going to the Worlds to collect participation awards: "I want to compete and ensure the West can perform there." An objective he therefore hopes to achieve again with Team BDS, whose last participation in the Worlds dates back to 2023.
