A streamer-backed organization will participate in the inaugural
League Impact Series (LIS). Sources close to
Sheep Esports revealed that Manuel “
Manute” Gómez, a Spanish streamer and content creator, will create
Majoris Angels, a team composed of the best players from Latin America’s women’s and marginalized genders scene.
The League Impact Series is the spiritual successor of Riot Games League of Legends Game Changers Circuit. However, the LIS will be organized by Blue Otter instead of Riot. The competition kicks off with an open qualifier on August 1st, where four teams will join four directly invited teams on a group stage, the next step of the competition.
The tournament boasts a $10,000 prize pool divided into various incentives and will feature an in-person LAN final at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, on October 10. A team that secures a partnership with a Tier 1 team will be invited directly into the Group Stage. Majoris Angels are one of the four teams directly invited. This will be their roster:
An ambitious roster
Majoris Angels will fully focus on securing a spot for the League Impact Series, but their ambitions won’t stop there. After the tournament concludes, the team will remain active as they compete in Liga Valkyria, a Latin American women’s and marginalized-gender tournament hosted by Isurus Gaming.
Two of their players, bot laner Solcitah and support KmiKira, competed and won the
2026 LAS Opening Qualifier 1 with
Azules Femenil, the League of Legends women’s division of Chilean football club
Universidad de Chile. Their biggest goal is to participate in either
Liga Regional Norte or
Liga Regional Sur by 2027.
The brains behind the operation
Manute is a Spanish content creator and streamer. During League of Legends’ early years, he was known for being a pre-rework Mordekaiser one-trick. His Twitch channel has
over 300K followers, and his YouTube channel is about to
reach 750K subscribers.
Manute joined Spanish organization Giants in 2020 before leaving the team in 2022. He joined Guasones in 2023, a team that achieved promotion to Spain’s Tier 1 league, now known as LES. He left the team in 2024 citing differences with the team, and became a TFT streamer. Guasones was exploring a possible investment in the LLA before the league announced it would fold in 2024.
