Teddy will begin his tenth year in the LCK with OKSavingsBank BRION
Park "Teddy" Jin-seong is set to join OKSavingsBank BRION in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) for the 2026 season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Sunday. The 27-year-old AD Carry will begin his tenth year in the LCK with BRION following two disappointing seasons with DRX.
At 27, soon to be 28, Teddy is the first player locked in for OKSavingsBank BRION for the 2026 season. He succeeds Byeon "Hype" Jeong-hyeon, who had been on loan from KT Rolster. With no other players from BRION’s 2025 roster still under contract for next year according to the Global Contract Database, Teddy officially kicks off the roster build.
Build Around an Experienced Player
BRION’s year was just as challenging as DRX’s. They finished 8th–9th in the LCK Cup and 8th in the Spring Split, narrowly salvaging their Summer with a third-place finish in the Rise group, only to be eliminated consecutively in the Play-In stage by Nongshim RedForce and Dplus KIA. Despite the results, the roster was far from weak, featuring promising players around whom the team could rebuild.
The organization’s iconic toplaner, Lord Park "Morgan" Ru-han, and Kim "Croco" Dong-beom joined mid-year to help steady the ship, while Lee "Clozer" Ju-hyeon remains a respected LCK midlaner. The botlane, however, occasionally struggled due to inexperience: Hype was in his first year in Korea’s Tier 1, and 19-year-old support Oh "Pollu" Dong-gyu, homegrown by the club, was only in his second.
A Long Career
Teddy is one of the most experienced active players in the LCK. He began his career in Challengers Korea in 2016 with Ever8 Winners, then spent two years with Jin Air Green Wings in the LCK before joining the world’s biggest organization, SKT T1. There, he won both the Spring and Summer in 2019, reaching the semifinals of the Mid-Season Invitational and the Worlds, both lost to G2 Esports.
In 2020, the organization rebranded to T1, and Teddy remained on the roster, winning his third LCK title in the Spring but failing to qualify for the Worlds that Summer. In Summer 2021, the team fell in the finals to DWG KIA, while Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong began making his mark, gradually taking over Teddy’s role and ultimately replacing him in the botlane during the regional finals alongside Ryu "Keria" Min-seok.
Since then, Teddy has struggled to regain the LCK’s top spots. In 2022, he joined Kwangdong Freecs during a difficult season, made a brief appearance with Liiv SANDBOX, and then moved to DRX in 2024. The team finished ninth twice, followed by another challenging 2025 season, during which he was even temporarily replaced by Trần "LazyFeel" Bảo Minh for medical reasons.
