SlowQ's agreement allows him to explore LEC offers
Midlaner Seo "SlowQ" Ye-bit is set to join MISA Esports in the TCL ahead of the 2026 season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Thursday.
After a successful year with Karmine Corp Blue, where he lifted the EMEA Masters trophy, SlowQ is now expected to play for MISA Esports should he remain in the ERL ecosystem. His current agreement still allows him to explore potential LEC opportunities, though a promotion to Tier 1 appears unlikely at this stage.
A domino effect in the LEC and ERLs
SlowQ’s move to MISA Esports was triggered by a chain reaction involving several midlaners. MISA’s first choice for the position was Tolga "Serin" Ölmez, who instead joined Team Heretics in the LEC. That decision opened the door for SlowQ to sign with MISA, while Paweł "Czekolad" Szczepanik—another name considered in the shuffle—is now set to join Joblife in the LFL, a team that was also in talks with Serin.
Do you like this roster change?
With SlowQ, MISA Esports aims to assemble a top-tier TCL roster alongside their new jungler Doğukan "113" Balcı. The organization is still finalizing the remaining positions but is targeting high-profile ERL players to complete the lineup and is expected to enter the 2026 season as one of the TCL favorites.
SlowQ joins as a proven champion
SlowQ arrives at MISA Esports as one of the most decorated mid laners in the ERLs, having won two LFL titles and one EMEA Masters championship, significantly raising his market value. Before his rise with Karmine Corp Blue, he played for lower-division ERL teams such as DSYRE (Italy) and Zero Tenacity (Poland).
This move will mark his debut in the Turkish league, where he’ll look to continue his growth and potentially set up a future promotion to the LEC. Even if that step doesn’t come this year, the Swedish-Korean mid laner appears well on track to reach Tier 1 by 2027.
