A few days after announcing on X that
Wolves Esports had allowed him to explore his options for the remainder of the season, Pong “
SiuFatBB” Ka Hei is already expected to find a new home. According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, the Hong Kong player is set to remain in
VCT China and has reached a verbal agreement to join
TYLOO ahead of Stage 2.
He is expected to take over the In-Game Leader role within the team, replacing Li “sword9” Wei in the roster. This will mark only the second VCT team of his career, having exclusively represented Wolves Esports since entering the league in 2024.
The best change for TYLOO?
Having consistently remained in the middle of the standings for some time, TYLOO could potentially aim for stronger results with the addition of a player who possesses international experience. At Kickoff, the team finished in sixth place, and at Stage 1, they achieved a similar result, falling two series short of qualifying for Masters London after a defeat against All Gamers.
Following these performances, TYLOO decided to replace their current IGL with another experienced player in the league who may also offer greater individual impact in SiuFatBB. Although he has not been one of the most consistent players in the league, the former Wolves player remains well known, alongside his team, for one of the most remarkable international runs produced by a Chinese representative. Last year, Wolves qualified for Masters Toronto as the league's third seed before ultimately securing a third-place finish at the event.
With only three Championship Points currently, TYLOO remain in contention for a place at the VALORANT Champions in Shanghai, but they will need to deliver a high-level performance during Stage 2, which is expected to begin at the end of June. The organization hopes that the signing of SiuFatBB will help them achieve that objective.
