Several teams in the LTAN and LEC considered Saint for their rosters — however, per the
Global Contract Database, Saint's contract with DK Challengers expires in 2025. Interested teams needed to reach transfer agreements with DK to secure him for their roster.
Before
Cloud9 signed Loki, for example, the team was interested in signing Saint. KOI, in the LEC, was also interested — if the Spanish organization failed to secure Jojopyun for their LEC roster, they had an offer for Saint ready instead. As reported by Sheep Esports, though, KOI
secured Jojopyun earlier this month.
Lyon Gaming, competing as the
LTAN's LLA team next year, is the combined venture of Movistar R7 and Six Karma. Even before their team was
officially announced, the team was negotiating with players to create a roster that would maximize their competitive chances next year.
