Sources: Reapered set to join Karmine Corp as Head Coach for the 2026 season

The Blue Wall has a new stonemason. After the foundation was set with the extension of Kim “Canna” Chang-dong and the continuity of Martin “Yike” Sundelin, sources close to Sheep Esports disclose that Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu will become Karmine Corp’s new Head Coach for the 2026 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC).

Reapered joins the 2025 LEC Winter Champions after coaching Cloud9 for the past year and a half. He narrowly missed Worlds qualification in 2024 and 2025 but broke a three split Finals appearance dry spell when playing for the LTA North Split 2 Championship.

The dominos started falling into place when Nick “Inero” Smith was promoted as the new Head Coach of C9. This resulted in Reapered being released which helped open the door for the French organization to acquire his services.

According to the League of Legends Global Contract Database, Karmine Corp’s current Head Coach, Rehareha “Reha” Ramanana, has his contract expire on November 18, 2025, Sheep Esports sources confirm that he will not be part of Karmine Corp's coaching staff next year.

Additionally, Karmine Corp still needs to finalize their complete coach staff for 2026, while a contract renewal is not impossible, Assistant Coach “Wadi” Benarbia and Performance Coach “Clément” Thillier’s contract are ending later this month.

The hunt for the ideal Head Coach successor included candidates from North America and Europe. Both Flyquest coaches, Erlend “Nukeduck” Holm and Alfonso “Mithy” Rodríguez, were considered as they're both set to become free agents this offseason.

Current Zero Tenacity Head of League of Legends and former Vitality.Bee Head Coach, Kacper “Nahovsky” Merski was also in consideration. In the end, Reapered was selected ahead of his European counterparts.
