If KCB wins the EMEA Masters, Prime will compete in LEC Versus
Olivier "Prime" Payet is set to join Karmine Corp Blue in LFL 2026, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. He will replace Kim "Piero" Jung-hun in the support role and will play in the LEC in Berlin during the Winter Split if the team wins the EMEA Masters Summer Split this Sunday against Los Heretics.

Prime had two major options for 2026: his current team, Ici Japon Corp, and Karmine Corp Blue. On Friday, he chose to join KC Blue in the LFL after receiving an offer from the organization. The alternative candidate for KCB’s support role was Erwin “Alaric” Cader.
At 25 years old, Prime has extensive experience in the ERL, having started his career in 2015 at the biggest LAN events in France. He also won the LVP Superliga in 2019 and the Prime League in 2023 with SK Gaming Prime. He has already played three years in the LFL with Team GO in 2024 and GameWard in 2021. In 2025, Prime was the support for Ici Japon Corp, with whom he reached the final of the EMEA Masters in Spring 2025. He was considered by NAVI in the LEC earlier this year before the Summer Split.
A chance to play among the best
Indeed, following recent information, academy teams like Karmine Corp Blue can qualify to play in the LEC Versus by winning the EMEA Masters Summer. This Sunday’s result will decide if KCB or Los Heretics join the top-tier LEC season alongside all major European teams. And Prime will be one of the two new players allowed to join the team if they qualify. As a reminder, Riot Games obligates the ERL teams to keep at least three players from among the five on their Summer 2025 roster, with some exceptions. Considering that KC Blue has secured three new players already, it seems they will fall among those exceptions for their roster.
Karmine Corp Blue’s 2026 project builds upon a legacy of success as the most decorated team in the LFL. Far from being newcomers, KCB has established itself as a dominant force, and its 2026 roster changes — including the arrivals of Kamil “Kamiloo” Haudegond, Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu, and now Prime — illustrate a continued commitment to nurturing talent through its comprehensive three-tier development system. The organization’s focus remains on blending experienced winners with promising young players, maintaining high competitive standards while preparing the next generation to thrive.
Karmine Corp Blue's reported 2026 Winter split roster:
- Top: TBD
- Jungle: TBD
- Mid: Kamil “Kamiloo” Haudegond
- ADC: Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu
- Support: Olivier "Prime" Payet
