According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Polat "Parus" Furkan Çiçek has reached a verbal agreement with Team BDS Academy and will play in the LFL next season.
Full BDS Academy LFL 2024 Roster
Top Lane: Janik "JNX" Bartels Jungle: Rudy "SkewMond" Semaan Mid Lane: Steven "Reeker" Chen AD Carry: Tim "Keduii" Willers Support: Polat "Parus" Furkan Çiçek
The Turkish support will land after a year where he has been crowned double TCL champion and EMEA Masters champion during the Spring Split. The young support already had the chance to be promoted during this year but complications between the LEC and ERL off-seasons left him without the possibility to do so.
Parus has been one of the most talked about players throughout the off-season with a chance of promotion to the top European competition (LEC). He has had considerations and interviews with several LEC teams but the dominoes did not fall his way and he is one of those supports that is affected by the large amount of players that were available this off-season in his position.
Team BDS on the other hand will once again be betting on a very talented roster for their academy with some of the best known players in the scene such as Janik "JNX" Bartels or Steven "Reeker" Chen. Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer will be in charge of leading the project as Head Coach where he will be reunited with Reeker himself as well as another old acquaintance such as Tim "Keduii" Willers. Rudy "SkewMond" Semaan will be the jungle and this closes one of the most ambitious projects of the LFL that will seek a clear objective, to lift the trophy of champion of France and to win the French championship.
