OMON could still join an LEC team if he receives an offer
Mid laner Šimon “OMON” Řiháček has reached an agreement with Galions to join the team in the LFL for the 2026 season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Thursday. However, the Czech mid laner’s deal includes a clause allowing him to continue exploring LEC opportunities. Unless he secures a spot in the LEC during the offseason, OMON is set to represent Galions next year.

Should the move go through, OMON would replace Tolga “Serin” Ölmez, who delivered a strong showing in the LFL Summer Split. According to sources, Galions are confident Serin will land an LEC offer this offseason, prompting them to secure a replacement early as they are likely to lose their current midlaner.
OMON’s signing marks the first confirmed player move to an LFL team this offseason. While already preparing their 2026 roster, Galions are still competing at the EMEA Masters with their current 2025 lineup, having just qualified for playoffs after a 4-2 finish in the Swiss Stage. Sources indicate that Serin is already aware of the team’s plans for next season.
A strong summer for Galions
It’s been a turbulent year for Galions, who were initially announced as one of the strongest rosters in the league. The first two splits didn’t go as planned, but things turned around in Summer when long-time Team GO AD Carry — now Galions — Jean "Jezu" Massol announced his retirement, and Polish botlaner Franciszek "HARPOON" Gryszkiewicz stepped in.
The team went on a flawless 9–0 regular season run and reached the grand final after beating Karmine Corp Blue in the Upper Bracket Final, before being reverse swept by the same KCB. Galions are currently competing at the EMEA Masters, having qualified for the bracket stage with a 4–2 record in the Swiss.
A year with BK ROG Esports
After promoting to LFL with Ici Japon Corp, OMON played for the first time in LFL this year with BK ROG Esports.. His season started with the Kickoff tournament, where his team finished 5th–6th in the split. Things shifted in Spring with the arrival of Théo "Booshi" Mouchiroud as AD Carry, unlocking the team’s full potential — the synergy between OMON and Enes "Rhilech" Uçan peaked, leading the roster to win the split and qualify for the EMEA Masters, where they reached the semifinals against Los Ratones.
Summer told a different story. Rhilech’s departure and the arrival of Enes "XnS" Hansu changed the team’s dynamic, and the roster struggled to replicate its previous success, ending the split in sixth place. This somewhat lowered OMON’s market value compared to the end of Spring, when his name frequently came up among players seen as deserving a shot in the LEC. OMON will now join Galions in the LFL but retains a clause allowing him to move to the LEC if an offer comes his way.
