Olleh is back in the LCS after his military service in South-Korea

Support Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung is back in the LCS after a year off, sources tell Sheep Esports on Saturday. Indeed, the player has recently reached a verbal agreement with Immortals in order to compete in the LCS next year.

Last year, Golden Guardian announced the departue of Olleh due to his mandatory military service in South-Korea. This was notable news considering that Olleh had been in the LCS for six years.

Sources indicate that Olleh kept up with League Of Legends during his military service. In July, Olleh started playing soloQ again after the end of his service. He managed to climb all the way up to Rank 1 on the South Korean ladder. This achievement grabbed the attention of several teams across Brazil as well as North America. Notably, Los Grandes in the CBLOL showed interest.

Olleh is set to make a return to Immortals, the first team that welcomed him to the LCS. In their previous collaboration, Olleh and Immortals successfully reached Worlds. Immortals approached Olleh early in the offseason, and he is now the third player to join their roster. Although questions may arise about Olleh's performance after a competitive break, there is no doubt about his motivation to compete at a high level once again. The 28-year-old veteran is expected to integrate well into the roster, which predominantly consists of younger players.
