noname becomes Ramboot's third jungler in as many splits this year
William "noname" Jones has just found refuge in his third different team this year. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, he has reached a verbal agreement with Ramboot Club and will return to the Superliga this Summer, replacing Magnus "MAXI" Stenz Kristensen, who, like his predecessor, only played a single split with the team. This marks Ramboot’s third jungle signing in as many splits in 2025.
noname will join a Ramboot roster that has undergone major changes before and after every split this year. The organization signed five new players for Spring, aiming for a reset, but finished no higher than 7th place. With MAXI's recent departure and noname stepping in, toplane and botlane are now the positions left unsettled ahead of the Summer Split.
A roster in constant motion
The British jungler became a free agent following Bushido Wildcats’ disappointing Spring Split, where the team finished 6th. Before that, he competed with Verdant in the NLC during Winter. His move to Ramboot marks a return to the Superliga — a league he exited at the end of 2024 on a sour note, after finishing 10th with ZETA. You’d have to go back to 2022 to find the last time noname played more than one split with a single team. That year, he competed in Spain’s second division with Guasones, alongside Sergio "Legolas" Vicente Gispert. They won the Spring Split and successfully promoted the team to the Superliga.
noname now faces a clear mission: help Ramboot Club reset and finally stabilize in 2025. Since joining the Superliga at the start of 2024, the Spanish organization has experienced massive roster changes ahead of nearly every split. Their most promising result remains Summer 2024, when they reached a strong third-place finish. But that momentum quickly vanished. A 5th-place finish in Winter and 7th in Spring followed, as inconsistency plagued the team. Heading into Summer, Ramboot’s primary goal will be to break into the top four once again, at the very least by advancing past the Swiss stage.
