Both LEC and LCS are considered
Toplaner Adam "Adam" Maanane might not continue his journey with NAVI next season, as the French player has been allowed to explore his options, sources tell Sheep Esports. After a challenging year where he suffered a series of losses with Rogue and then NAVI, Adam's contract expires at the end of the year. The player could therefore continue his career in another team, although his departure has not yet been fully confirmed.
Per sources, several toplaners from ERLs are among the options that can fill NAVI's toplane spot for 2026, but Adam staying remains a possibility. In the meantime, Adam has signed with Prodigy Agency. Although based in Europe, Prodigy also have a presence in North America through one of their agents and an established network in the region. This appealed to Adam, who is open to exploring potential opportunities in the LCS as well. A move that makes sense, considering he struggled to find a LEC team last year, with Rogue emerging as a last-minute option.
NAVI continues to be very active during this offseason. The team is already exploring market options for the midlaner and support positions to respectively replace Emil "Larssen" Larsson and Kim "Malrang" Geun-seong. After Vasilis "TheRock7" Voltis' arrival at the beginning of September, the team continues its process to form a competitive team in 2026.
Defeat after defeat
After playing for Team BDS for three seasons, Adam left the team at the end of 2024. But the French toplaner had difficulty finding a new home. While he expected to spend a split without a team, Rogue came forward at the end of the year to add him to their newly formed roster. However, the team failed to find its footing and achieved results well below their expectations. Rogue finished in the bottom two spots with one win in the winter and two in the spring.
Despite disappointing collective results, Adam continued to show that he can play at a good level. He transitioned between Rogue and Natus Vincere to approach the summer split with better ambitions. However, the results weren't better. NAVI didn't secure a single victory in the summer and finished last in their group. Amidst all of this, Adam's performances declined and were no longer as impactful. On a frustrating note, Adam and NAVI's season therefore came to an early end.
The Ukrainian organization already look toward new horizons to complete its roster in 2026, which already includes Enes "Rhilech" Uçan and Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon. The future of the French toplaner remains unknown to this day, whether it is written in the LEC or in another league. The player has already spoken himself on Twitch, explaining that he was exploring international opportunities and that he was potentially interested in a club like Sentinels that just returned to League of Legends in LCS.
