Nahovsky was already Vitality.Bee's head coach between 2023 and 2024
The coach of Vitality.Bee next year will be a familiar face to the organization. Kacper "Nahovsky" Merski is expected to resume his position as head coach in LFL, which he had left at the end of 2024, sources tell Sheep Esports. He thus succeeds Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer, who himself had succeeded him at the beginning of the year.
After a year as the head of League of Legends at the Serbian-Polish organization Zero Tenacity, Nahovsky is back in the LFL with a team he knows and where he will try to achieve more titles than in the past. Per sources, the coach was also considered by Karmine Corp for the role in LEC, but the French team eventually chose Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu's profile. Edward "Edward" Abgaryan was considered for the head coach position in the event of a merger between Vitality.Bee and Team BDS Academy, but this operation did not succeed, so Nahovsky will ultimately be the team's coach.
Going back home
The adventure as Nahovsky's coach at Vitality.Bee started in 2023. At the time, the Polish assistant coach found a number of his compatriots on the French team, including Kacper "Daglas" Dagiel, Mateusz "Czajek" Czajka, and Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński. Nahovsky became head coach during the Summer split, but this year remained quite weak for the Bees, who didn't qualify for the EMEA Masters even once.
Despite these disappointing results, Nahovsky was retained for another year, during which another Pole joined the team with Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek. After some difficulties in the first split, the team gradually gained momentum in the summer with Daglas' return as well. Vitality. Bee finished as a finalist in the EMEA Masters and won the Coupe de France at the end of the year. Three players from the roster also found a place in the LEC, including two at Team Vitality with Czajek and Kaan "Naak Nako" Okan.
Last year, despite an ambitious roster, Vitality.Bee suffered a series of disappointments in the LFL. Despite qualifying for the EMEA Masters Summer, the team was knocked out 3-0 by Los Ratones. In the hope of making its academic team shine again, Vitality is bringing back a coach who helped a good portion of its players move up to the LEC. Nahovsky is therefore leaving his head of LoL position at Zero Tenacity, which he had taken for a year, to come back and help at Vitality.
