Shin "Lure" Jae-yoon is set to join Los Heretics in the SuperLiga, sources tell Sheep Esports on Wednesday. The South Korean AD Carry is returning to action after a year off from competitive play. Lure previously spent several years with Hanwha Life Esports Academy and Challengers.

Team Heretics offered Víctor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa the position of ADC for their academy team, but the player declined the offer and will therefore be neither in the LEC nor with Los Heretics in the SuperLiga.

Lure will succeed Khalil “Rin” Sahraoui at Los Heretics, and the team considered several other AD Carries during the process. Kim “Cypher” Yu-jun was an option, but he ultimately extended with T1 Academy. Cho “OddEye” Hyung-jin was also evaluated, though he eventually signed with OKSavingsBank BRION.

Lure began his career in LCK AS with HLE, the club where he spent his entire trajectory. In Summer 2022, he moved up to LCK CL, where he played alongside Shin “Rooster” Yun-hwan and Joo “Duro” Min-kyu. He remained there until the end of 2024, but failed to secure a team for the 2025 season. He is now making his return to competitive play in Spain with Los Heretics.

Los Heretics had a strong year overall. They won the Winter Split of the SuperLiga and reached the quarterfinals of the EMEA Masters, then finished third in Spring with another run to the EMEA quarterfinals. They went on to reach the finals of both the Summer Split and the Final Four, before securing their best continental result yet: a runner-up finish against Karmine Corp. All three splits were played with Rin in the ADC role, who has now joined G2 Nord in the Prime League, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.

The Spanish academy roster is now complete, with Baek “Mihile” Sang-hwi in the toplane, Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel retained in the jungle, and Cengizhan “Mercy9” Teker also staying on in the midlane. Lure will be joined by Batu “Batuuu” Kaygusuz in the support role.
