Less won 2022 Champions with LOUD
French VALORANT teams are definitely popular with LOUD players. After Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro with Karmine Corp, this time it's Felipe "Less" Basso who, according to sources close to Sheep Esports, has reached a verbal agreement with Vitality in VCT EMEA. After two excellent years in 2022 and 2023 - including a title at the Champions 2022 - LOUD and Less enjoyed a mixed 2024 season.
The agreement is pending the signing of all the documentation and will be completed soon after LOUD and Vitality organizations sign the transfer.
Although the Brazilians reached the final of the Americas Kick-Off, they subsequently missed out on both stages of the local VCT: the team was eliminated from the playoffs in the first round of Stage 1 and didn't even reach the playoffs in Stage 2.
VCT EMEA Runners-Up
The 19-year-old Sentinel will therefore be looking to bounce back in a Vitality team that seemed to be on the rise. The year of the Beehive had started under particular conditions, as the Bees were unable to field their final roster at the EMEA Kick-Off and only integrated Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko for Stage 1. The club finished the Group Stage 3-3 - like the other four teams in the Alpha Group - but missed out on play-off qualification due to the map difference.
During Stage 2, however, Vitality established themselves as one of the best teams in the VCT EMEA: after a more conclusive group phase (3-1), Vitality qualified for the playoffs and even reached the grand final, which they lost to Fnatic. Qualified for the Champions, Vitality failed to progress beyond the group phase.
