kyeahoo joins the Blue Wall
Karmine Corp finally have their new midlaner. After weeks of waiting and rumors about a Korean import, Kang "kyeahoo" Yea-hoo will be the one taking on the midlane role next year, sources tell Sheep Esports. After several weeks of research and studying profiles, the long-awaited Korean import has reached an agreement with Karmine Corp to commit to the next LEC season.

The 20-year-old player arrives in the LEC after almost four seasons under the DRX banner, in LCK AS, LCK CL, and LCK. According to sources, Kyeahoo will join Karmine Corp without a buyout. He'll also be the third South Korean member of the team alongside Kim "Canna" Chang-dong and new Head Coach Bok "Reapered" Han-gyu.
A choice among many profiles
From the very beginning of the transfer window, Sheep Esports had reported that KC was looking for alternatives in the midlane and had allowed Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis the possibility to explore his options. The team founded by the French streamer Kamel "Kameto" Kebir then considered several options, notably among Korean players.
As previously reported by Sheep Esports, the profile of Lim "Quid" Hyeon-seung had particularly caught the attention of KC, sending him an offer, but he ultimately prioritized the offer of Team Liquid. Among the other players who caught the club's attention, Kang "Saint" Seong-in, whom LYON wanted to keep, as well as Lee "Loki" Sang-min, who eventually prioritized a return to Korea, or even Lee "BuLLDoG" Tae-young and Yoo "Zinie" Baek-jin.
The bet of youth
Recently ranked 1 on the Korean SoloQ ladder, it was ultimately Kyeahoo's profile that caught the attention of Karmine Corp to become the new midlaner. Kyeahoo started his career with DRX Academy in 2022. Since the 2023 Summer Split, the player has made a few appearances in the LCK team before establishing himself this season as the team's main midlaner. Despite his team's disappointing results, Kyeahoo maintained a decent level of performance throughout the season.
He thus takes a new step in his career by joining Europe and Karmine Corp, which was looking for fresh blood in this position. After a disappointing end to the season for the French team, change was demanded by the fans to avoid failing to qualify to Worlds again. It is therefore Kyeahoo that this will happen and through other changes made in other roles.
