Another roster change is coming to
Natus Vincere's
VCT EMEA lineup at a point in the season when another move seemed unlikely. Following a defeat to
Joblife in their opening Stage 2 Play-In match, which leaves the team on the brink of elimination and their
VALORANT season close to its end, NAVI have decided to bench Clément "
CyvOph" Millard for the remainder of the season, sources tell
Sheep Esports.
After joining NAVI at the beginning of the split, the French player's stint in VCT EMEA with the Ukrainian organization will have been a short-lived one, lasting just four weeks of competition. He will be replaced by Herman "Kolosha" Skrypka, who has reached a verbal agreement with the team. Kolosha has so far been part of the academy roster and had already temporarily joined the main team earlier in the season.
A better fit in Kolosha?
Despite his young age, Kolosha already has some Tier 1 experience under his belt, having therefore made his debut earlier this season. Following Kickoff, NAVI decided to make changes to their roster, with Kolosha joining the team for the EMEA Clash as a temporary replacement for Uğur "Ruxic" Güç. He was subsequently retained for two VCT EMEA Stage 1 matches in place of Abdullah "ExiT" Al-Twaijri, who was unable to travel to Berlin at the time due to visa issues.
NAVI ultimately opted to finish Stage 1 with Berkcan "ComeBack" Şentürk as their stand-in, while Kolosha returned his full attention to his season with NAVI Junior, the academy team launched by the organization this year. He enjoyed a solid campaign, notably reaching the VCL EMEA Stage 2 final and representing Ukraine in the Esports Nations Cup Qualifier, where he narrowly missed out on qualification for the main event.
His agent pool is similar to CyvOph's, with Phoenix being his primary pick in recent weeks. He can also serve as a secondary Duelist or play Sage to facilitate a different play style. NAVI's next match will take place this Wednesday against Team Heretics, marking the beginning of the lower-bracket run, where the teams involved will have to win three consecutive matches to qualify for the playoffs.
Another setback
For CyvOph, this premature end to his season represents another major setback in what has been a difficult year. He has nevertheless struggled to establish himself in Europe's top league. After being benched by Team Vitality following just a few matches during his VCT debut in 2025, CyvOph was given a second opportunity as a stand-in for Fnatic.
That more promising stint allowed him to showcase his potential and ultimately earned him a place on NAVI's roster. Unfortunately for him, his performances fell well short of the team's expectations, costing him his place on another VCT roster before the season has even come to an end.
Ten different players
Still searching for results since the beginning of the season, NAVI are no strangers to roster moves. In fact, it would be difficult to find another team that has made as many changes to its lineup since the start of the year. A few weeks ago, in an interview with Sheep Esports, Enterprise Esports player Martin "Magnum" Peňkov explained that VCL teams were able to cause problems for VCT sides in part because the latter had spent the season constantly reshuffling their rosters.
He specifically cited NAVI as an example. "They did many roster swaps already during six months, and I'm pretty sure if they can change again, they will do it." He was not far off the mark, as ten different players have already featured for NAVI since the beginning of the year.
