Josedeodo joins Quid and Spookz to the list of transfers looking to capture the organization's sixth LCS title
Brandon Joel “Josedeodo” Villegas will become Team Liquid’s jungler for the 2026 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), sources close to Sheep Esports reveal. He will be arriving alongside 2024 LCS Spring MVP Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung, as previously reported.
Team Liquid will also strengthen its coaching staff. They confirmed the addition of Samuel "Spookz" Broadley as the new assistant coach, previously on 100 Thieves, three days ago. He will join fellow Aussie Jake "Spawn" Tiberi for his fourth year commanding the reins of the five-time LCS Champions.
Another Round of Tango
Three years ago, FlyQuest made Josedeodo the first ever Latin American player to be imported into a major region. The jungler will return with renewed vigor looking to improve his first stint in North America.
Team Liquid were eager to secure Isurus' former jungler. Though Josedeodo is Argentinian, and took up an import slot during his previous stint in NA, he will not take up an import slot . This keeps the option to fill the remaining import slot with a Korean top laner.
Uncertainty Looms
Team Liquid was one of the reported teams pushing for Kacper “Inspired” Słoma before he agreed to join LYON. Though two-time NACL Most Valuable Prospect, Ganbat “Yuuji” Ulziidelger, is still under contract until November 17, 2026, he is exploring his options. Sheep Esports is unaware if a buyout would be included or if both parties will mutually part ways.
Yuuji has been a mainstay around North American Challengers League and collegiate competitions since 2021, but has had a difficult off seasons. A native from Mongolia, the jungler takes up an import slot because of his EMEA residency.
