Sources: Jeskla set to join Vivo Keyd Stars in the CBLOL

A Swede is set to arrive in São Paulo, with the change taking place on the Vivo Keyd Stars roster. Jesper "" Klarin Strömberg is set to join VKS in the Circuit Brazilian League of Legends (CBLOL) for the Summer Split, sources tell Sheep Esports on Monday. He will replace Argentine AD Carry Mauro Lorenzo "" Tévez.

After a difficult Spring Split that saw Vivo Keyd Stars finish sixth in the CBLOL following a loss to LOS, as well as another defeat to the same opponent in the qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2026, the team was in need of changes. After considering several options, including Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos and Tim "Keduii" Willers, VKS ultimately decided to move forward with Jeskla.

At 26 years old, Jeskla is set to make his return to Tier 1 League of Legends. He began his career in Spain with MAD Lions and Movistar Riders before making his first LEC appearance with Excel. He later went on to represent MOUZ NXT, Astralis, Vitality.Bee, and LDLC OL.

Most recently, he played for Caldya Esports, helping the team secure a third-place finish in the Nexus Tour, France's second-tier League of Legends competition. On the solo queue ladder, Jeskla is currently Grandmaster with over 2,100 LP on the EU West server.

VKS' roster is currently made up of three Brazilian players: toplaner César "zekas" Berteli França, jungler Pedro Arthur "Disamis" Gonçalves, and support Pedro "scamber" Lemos. In the midlane is former Gentle Mates player Jeong "Mireu" Jo-bin, who has held the role for over a year. With the arrival of Jeskla, the two will make up the team's two import players.

The CBLOL Split 2 is scheduled to begin on July 25. So far, VKS have finished in the top six in both the Winter and Spring Splits, and will field their third different AD Carry in as many splits after Matheus "Morttheus" Motta in Winter and ceo in Spring.

Jeskla will be following in the footsteps of the team's head coach, Ludvig Erik Hugo "Smiley" Granquist. Like Jeskla, the Swede spent several years competing in the European Regional Leagues before joining VKS in Brazil's CBLOL as an AD Carry. In June 2025, Smiley retired from professional play to transition into coaching, taking over as the team's head coach.
