The promise of a competitive roster and becoming one of the highest paid players made the Polish superstar settle for LYON
Kacper “Inspired” Słoma will play for LYON in 2026, sources close to Sheep Esports have revealed. The Polish jungler won’t renew with Flyquest but will stay in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) with the Latin American organization.
As previously reported, the two-time LCS MVP had gathered offers to return to Europe and to stay in NA. Alongside LYON, Team Liquid, and a renewal with Flyquest, were among the strongest offers, but ultimately, Inspired chose LYON.
LYON made a significant push to secure Inspired, sending him the highest offer. He will be among the highest-paid players in the LCS, if not the highest, in 2026. Additionally, LYON promised to field a competitive roster for the 2026 LCS Season which includes midlaner Kang “Saint” Sung-in. Additionally, LYON is looking to import a strong and reputable AD Carry from South Korea.

Seize the Throne
This offseason has been a fast paced for LYON. They've announced the departure of most of their 2025 roster plus head coach Gabriel "Khynm" Roussy and startegic coach Tobías "Pointless" Riscica, who delivered championships back to the organization in 2023 and 2024. Per sources, LYON is talking to proven LTA Head Coaches as potential replacements.
They're looking to return to their winning ways, a stark contrast from a disappointing debut in LTA. In 2025, LYON had a slow start, but they were able to gather some momentum in the latter half of the season. They will look to echo their historic past and become Kings of the North.
From Glory to a Rebuild
The history between Inspired and FlyQuest started when the jungler joined in the 2024 offseason. Together, they achieved three championships, a myriad of individual accolades, including 2025 LTA Player of the Year, and one quarterfinal appearance at Worlds 2024 which couldn’t be repeated in 2025.
Inspired, who is considered the best jungler in the West, will follow former teammate Busio by stepping into another challenge away from one of the strongest North American teams in recent years.
As reported previously by Sheep Esports, FlyQuest considers junglers Pedro "Tatu" Seixas (FURIA) and Johnny "Yukino" Dang (Karmine Corp Blue), following the departure of Inspired, among other candidates. Team Liquid, which missed out on the Polish star as well, is considering Junglers from South Korea.
