After two years with FlyQuest, Inspired could leave the team while staying within the region
Kacper "Inspired" Słoma wrapped up his season just a few days ago, yet he’s already at the center of offseason attention, sources tell Sheep Esports. This year was filled with regional titles for the Polish jungler and FlyQuest, but the failure at Worlds was evident — the North Americans couldn’t find their way to the quarterfinals.
Many options, but three stand out
Many teams across North America and Europe have expressed interest in the jungler. However, three teams in particular appear as strong bidders for the Polish jungler. Those teams are LYON, Team Liquid, and FlyQuest. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, LYON has already secured their midlaner Kang "Saint" Sung-in, who will remain with the team.
As a reminder, Inspired's contract with FlyQuest is running out in November. As he will become a free agent, FlyQuest is in negotiations on even footing with other teams. Inspired is free to join the project he prefers, but those three teams appear to stand out. Additionally, Shopify Rebellion had also shown mild interest in the Jungler, but has backed out of negotiations.
Which team should Inspired join?
FlyQuest onto a new project?
While Inspired may still choose to remain with FlyQuest, the organization has already decided on another change: Bwipo will not be the team’s starting toplaner next year. Additionally, FlyQuest is exploring alternative options in case they fail to re-sign Inspired. Among those explored, the teams of junglers Pedro "Tatu" Seixas (FURIA) and Johnny "Yukino" Dang (Karmine Corp Blue) have both been contacted.
The end of the competitive season marks the start of the offseason — and for what many consider the best jungler in the West, and arguably the best player of both the LTA and the LEC, things are bound to get interesting. The Polish jungler has also attracted interest from his home region, the LEC, but it seems unlikely to materialize; he will most likely stay in North America.
A tough Worlds
FlyQuest had a strong year, winning Split 2 and participating in the Mid-Season Invitational as well as the Esports World Cup. In the Summer, the team claimed Split 3 and qualified as the LTA’s first seed — a perfect way to rekindle memories of their 2024 Worlds performance, where they reached the quarterfinals and went toe-to-toe with Gen.G. After a respectable five-game series, Inspired and his team exited with their heads held high.

But Worlds 2025 proved to be a very different story for FlyQuest. After an initial loss to T1, they bounced back with consecutive wins over Vivo Keyd Stars and Team Secret Whales. Leading 2-1, they only needed to win one of the next two BOs, but fell twice—first to G2 Esports and then to CTBC Flying Oyster—failing to advance past the Swiss Stage.
Author’s Note:
Hey guys, Wooloo here. As you may have seen yesterday, Sheep Esports' Brazilian reporter Showtana shared that Josedeodo had reached a verbal agreement with LYON.
To be honest, at first I thought this information was incorrect — I had multiple sources confirming to me that Inspired was in talks with LYON. However, after checking again with several of them, it does seem that Josedeodo also has a verbal agreement with the team. I’m not entirely sure how that’s possible, but I’ve been told that LATAM teams often operate differently from LEC or LCS organizations. It’s not uncommon for them to reach verbal agreements with multiple players and then choose the one they prefer in the end.
Usually, when I report a verbal agreement, the terms are final, and both sides stop exploring other options. That doesn’t seem to be the case here. It’s also possible that the information about Josedeodo’s agreement is inaccurate, or that it depends on Inspired’s decision.
Since I wasn’t sure how to report this situation definitively, I felt the most transparent approach was to share it directly with you guys here in this author’s note. In any case, I remain confident that LYON are negotiating with Inspired and aiming to build a very strong roster.
Cheers <3
