Toplaner HiRit returns to Turkey after a split off
Toplaner Shin "HiRit" Tae-min and Head Coach Ilias "Enatron" Theodorou have reached a verbal agreement with FUT Esports in the Turkish Championship League. Sources told Sheep Esports last week that this information is true.
Familiar faces for the TCL
Enatron is a known coach for older Turkish fans as he used to coach for teams such as Royal Youth (2019), Fenerbahçe (2020), and NASR Turkey (2021). Following success in Turkey, Enatron joined Dignitas in the LCS at the end of 2021.
Enatron coached for the North American organization for two and a half years. During their time together, Dignitas and Enatron never managed to make it very far in the LCS and even finished two splits in tenth place. This spring, Dignitas showed some bright moments but couldn't finish higher than fifth place.
HiRit is also quite well-known among Turkish fans. While some might remember him for his time with Misfits Gaming, HiRit also played for both Fenerbahçe (2020) and Dark Passage (2023) in the TCL.
HiRit has remained a free agent for 2024 as he didn't have a team for this spring split. However, this also made him available to pick up for any team. He will return to the TCL in a revamped FUT Esports roster that is looking to import another player from South Korea and aim for top profiles in other roles. Earlier this offseason, FUT attempted to acquire Support Mustafa "Carry" Selim Yılmaz, who will be heading to Supermassive instead.
