FURIA will revert to a fully Brazilian roster in 2025
FURIA return to a familiar formula. In the summer of 2024, the Brazilian team fielded two South Korean players for the first time in its CBLOL history: toplaner Kwon “Zzk” Hee-won and jungler Na “Wiz” Yoo-joon, both of whom had already been competing in Brazil before joining. However, for the inaugural season of the revamped South American championship, the LTA South, the Panthers will revert to a fully Brazilian roster, according to Sheep Esports sources.
The team will retain three of its players: midlaner Arthur “Tutsz” Peixoto Machado, AD Carry Andrey “Ayu” Saraiva, and support Gabriel “JoJo” Dzelme de Oliveira. Tutsz and Ayu have already played three splits together in FURIA’s colors, with their best result being a fifth-place finish in CBLOL Split 2 of 2024 alongside their South Korean topside. This followed a disappointing ninth-place result in Split 1. Ayu joined the team a few months earlier than Tutsz and initially played as a support during Split 1 of the 2023 season.
Guigo-JoJo reunion
JoJo, who arrived mid-season alongside Zzk and Wiz, will now reunite with Guilherme “Guigo” Ruiz, FURIA's new toplaner. The two were teammates during their championship-winning run with RED Canids in CBLOL Split 2 of 2021. Guigo has since experienced contrasting fortunes with Vivo Key Stars: a challenging 2023 season, followed by a near-title run in 2024, finishing third in Split 1 and as a finalist in Split 2, though he ultimately fell short of securing another championship.
To round out the roster, FURIA have secured the services of the promising talent Pedro “Tatu” Seixas. The young jungler is considered one of the brightest prospects in the Brazilian scene and is coming off an outstanding 2024 season with paIN Gaming’s academy team. Tatu claimed the CBLOL Academy Split 1 title and reached the final of Split 2, narrowly losing to VKS Academy. However, he capped off the year on a high note by winning the Americas Challenger tournament, against the top Tier 2 teams across the American continent.
FURIA's 2025 reported roster:
- Top: Guilherme "Guigo" Ruiz
- Jungle: Pedro "Tatu" Seixas
- Mid: Arthur "Tutsz" Peixoto
- ADC: Andrey "Ayu" Saraiva
- Support: Gabriel "JoJo" Dzelme
