His hook found a fish. Midlaner Lee "Fisher" Jeong-tae is set to join OKSavingsBank BRION in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), sources tell Sheep Esports on Thursday. Fisher spent the early part of 2025 with Nongshim RedForce in the LCK before being demoted to LCK CL with the academy roster.
Fisher becomes the second reported player set to join BRION. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, Park "Teddy" Jin-seong will be the team’s AD Carry. The organization also confirmed its coaching staff, with Kim "Ssong" Sang-soo as head coach and Lee "Duke" Ho-seong as assistant coach. The team saw several departures as well, including Byeon "Hype" Jeong-hyeon, who joined Misa Esports.
To Settle Permanently in the LCK
Fisher still hasn’t completed a full year in the LCK. He began his career alongside two well-known names in the scene, Choi "Zeus" Woo-je and Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun, during his time with T1 in the LCK AS before moving to Shadow Battlica. He later joined Liiv SANDBOX Youth in LCK CL for a split at the end of 2022, where he notably played with Joo "Duro" Min-kyu and Yoon "Ice" Sang-hoon.
He made his Tier 1 debut in 2023, but not in South Korea—his first appearance came in the LPL with EDward Gaming, playing alongside Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao and Tian "Meiko" Ye. Spring 2024 was his final split there, as he returned to South Korea afterward to join NS. He also started the 2025 season with the team, but was benched during spring in favor of Syun "Calix" Hyun-bin despite posting good showings. To be fair, Calix performed quite well too.
Finding his place in the midlane
Over the 2025 season, from the KeSPA Cup to the LCK CL Play-In, Fisher played 19 different champions across 127 games. His most-played picks were Azir (14 games), Aurora and Ryze (12 each), Viktor and Yone (11 each), and Taliyah and Ahri (10 each).
The LCK midlane is an unforgiving role with extremely limited opportunities. Every young player dreams of stepping up to face Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok or Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong, but competition is brutal—ten available spots for an overwhelming pool of rising talent.
