Cho "
Castle" Hyeon-seong has reached an agreement to join Disguised in the LTA North next year, according to Sheep Esports sources. With Felix “
Abbedagge” Braun already
set to join the team, DSG has filled its import slots for its Tier 1
League of Legends debut. The team is set up with a strong foundation — veteran support Choi "
huhi" Jae-hyun is set to be the
team's new support and jungler
Lawrence Lin "eXyu" Xu will play his fourth LCS split with the team.
Going into the offseason, DSG's first priority in the toplane was Srtty, who chose instead to
join Dignitas, preferring to follow Han "
Rigby" Earl — who also joined Dignitas — above all else in the offseason. After Srtty, DSG's best resident option was Milan "
Tenacity" Oleksij, who would allow them to import a support. However, with chances of securing Korean import support Lee "
IgNar" Dong-geun dwindling, DSG quickly signed Castle and huhi to complete the roster's core.
Despite back-to-back last-place finishes with Immortals this year, Castle was a clear standout player. On the Spring
All-Pro ballots from teams — submitted by LCS coaches and players — 6 of the 14 voters eligible to vote for Castle put him on the third All-Pro team. In a league featuring standout toplaners like Gabriël "
Bwipo" Rau, Jeong "
Impact" Eon-young, and Rayan "
Sniper" Shoura, teams giving third-place votes to an 8th-place player was a surprise.
The Spring vote tally helped lend credence to analyst opinions that Castle's level of play was a rare highlight in IMT's otherwise mediocre performances all year — and to rumors that he was a monster in scrims.
With both of their import slots filled, DSG have to search for a resident jungler and ADC to round out their roster. With their flexible Americas slot still open, the team could also choose an LRN, LRS, LTA South player, but they are most likely to choose a player with NA residency.
