Answer the call of North America
A new Korean player is set to join Disguised next season. Oh "callme" Ji-hoon will become the team’s new midlaner, sources tell Sheep Esports on Tuesday. After spending the past year in the TCL with Misa Esports, callme will change continents and join Disguised for the upcoming season. He will replace Isaac "DARKWINGS" Chou who will be Sentinels' midlaner as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
Disguised continues to shape its new roster for next year. After opting to extend toplaner Cho "Castle" Hyeon-seong and placing its trust in NA Challengers League prospects Sajed "Sajed" Ziade as AD carry, and jungler Christian “KryRa” Rahaian, DSG is now turning to a more seasoned player with experience in the LCK.
A player fit for the league?
Developed within the LCK Academy system, callme had several opportunities to showcase his talent in Korea’s premier league, though he was unable to establish himself as one of its standout players. In 2024, he competed during the first half of the year with Nongshim RedForce. Throughout the Summer Split, he was gradually replaced by Lee "Fisher" Jeong-tae and finished the season in the LCK Challengers League.
He then chose to leave South Korea alongside teammate Baek "Mihile" Sang-hwi to join Misa Esports. Both players were able to demonstrate their capabilities throughout the year. Misa Esports finished third in the Winter Split, second in the Spring Split, and ultimately won the Summer Split as the roster reached peak form. However, they were eliminated twice in the EMEA Masters quarterfinals. Initially, callme was hoping to join Disguised with Mihile in the toplane, as the organisation considered both. However, as Castle wasn't chosen after Team Liquid tryouts and re-signed with Disguised, this was no longer possible. Callme will therefore join the team on his own, with Mihile heading to Los Heretics.
In North America, he will join a rebuilt Disguised lineup. After a difficult 2025 season in which the team secured only a single BO3 win across two splits, DSG saw improvements in the Summer Split, eliminating Dignitas and putting up a strong fight against Cloud9 before their run ended. With most players departing at the end of the year, Disguised has slowly begun assembling its new roster for the upcoming season, one in which callme may very well become one of the most experienced players on the team.
