After a tumultuous year with VIT, Bo joins KCorp!

Jungler Zhou "Bo" Yang-Bo has reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp to join the team's LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) squad, according to Sheep Esports sources. The Chinese jungler was also considered by Excel Esports.

Jungler Linas "Lyncas" Nauncikas was also considered to field this position for KC. Due to the LEC organization choosing Bo, Lyncas has now reached an agreement to compete in the team's LFL roster instead. There is however, still a good chance that the player ends up in a LEC team.

KC Finalizing its LEC Roster

With this move, Karmine Corp aims to lock its second new addition by signing another former Vitality player. Having reportedly found an agreement with star bot laner Elias "Upset" Lipp yesterday, the French team is now poised to enter the LEC with a mix of new and old faces.

Per information made available to Sheep Esports, the team is currently still in talks with top laner Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet, mid laner Lucas "Saken" Fayard, and support Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé, who are expected to be promoted to the team's main roster. It is important to note that the players have not yet reached agreements with the organization and could very well not end up making the final roster of the team as it heads into the 2024 LEC.

First year as a starter in Europe

During the 2023 season, Chinese jungler Bo competed for Team Vitality alongside Upset in the Spring Split onward. In the Winter Split, the team looked strong and came 1st in the regular season before dwindling down in the groups and falling to SK Gaming, failing to attend that split's playoffs. Despite a better performance in spring, where the team would ultimately end in 3rd place, Vitality failed to translate its good early performances in later stage of the season.

In Summer, the team would struggle to uphold past results in the league and would eventually decide on benching Bo in favor of 18-year-old Polish jungler Kacper "Daglas" Dagiel, who is expected to be promoted to the team's main roster next year.
