AD Carry Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol has reached a verbal agreement with Cloud9 in order to extend his contract, sources confirmed with Sheep Esports on Friday. The player already had a contract in place until the end of 2024, but it will now be extended. This news also confirms that the player will continue to start for the team next year, according to additional sources.
Despite his existing contract, Cloud9 wasn't certain about whether Berserker would remain as a starter for the team in 2024. Other players were considered as potential replacements, but in the end, both parties have agreed to extend the 20-year-old South Korean talent.
