Louis ā
Beanā Schmitz is making his return to
BIG. Sources close to Sheep Esports say that the AD Carry has reached a verbal agreement with the German organization for the
upcoming Prime League season. Bean previously played for BIG during the 2020 season, though the stint was less than successful, with the team finishing 7th in the Spring Split and 5th in the Summer Split. He will reunite with former teammate Finn-Lukas ā
Don Artsā Salomon, who is now transitioning from jungler to coach, joining BIGās staff alongside former EURONICS Gaming support Yannick ā
Pandarā Greff, according to Sheep Esports sources.
Although Beanās initial run with BIG didnāt yield great results, he has since gained valuable experience. In 2021, he joined Fnatic Rising in the NLC, reaching the finals in both splits. More notably, Bean stepped in for Fnaticās main roster at the World Championship, replacing Elias āUpsetā Lipp. The following year, he captured the first and only title of his career, winning the Superliga Spring Split with Fnatic TQ.
However, Beanās career has since slowed. His 2024 season was particularly challenging: after finishing 8th in the Superliga with Rebels Gaming, he moved to AEGIS in the LFL, where the team finished last in the French championship. AEGIS ultimately lost their spot in the LFL after the Up&Down relegation. BIG, too, is navigating a difficult period. After spending three years competing near the top from 2021 to 2023, the club struggled in 2024, finishing 9th in the Prime League Spring Split and 7th in the Summer Split.
