Arvindir will be promoted to the LEC after spending 2025 with Vitality.Bee
Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer is set to join Team Vitality in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) as assistant coach, sources tell Sheep Esports on Monday. He’s being promoted from the academy team, Vitality.Bee, with whom he spent the 2025 season. Arvindir was the head coach of Team BDS Academy in 2024, when the team won the EMEA Masters Summer Split. According to sources, Gonçalo "Crusher" Pinto Brandão was the other option for VIT.
Arvindir began his career as an analyst with SK Gaming before moving into coaching with Iguana eSports, ALTERNATE aTTaX, and Berlin International Gaming. After several appearances at the EMEA Masters — including the Summer 2019 title — Arvindir joined KOI in the LVP as head coach, then stepped up to the LEC in 2023 as assistant coach to Simon “fredy122” Payne. The team finished third in Winter before collapsing later in the season.
EMEA Masters Champion
In 2024, he joined BDS Academy — the renowned roster reached the LFL Spring final, the EMEA Masters semifinals, then went on to win both the LFL and EMEA Masters Summer titles. In 2025, the German coach signed with Vitality.Bee. The team, however, never truly lived up to expectations, often underperforming despite the hype, with a best finish of two top-four placements.
Arvindir thus joins a coaching staff whose composition for next season remains unclear. Vitality’s 2025 coaching team included James "Mac" MacCormack, Patrick "Pad" Suckow-Breum, and Christophe "Kaas" van Oudheusden, but their future with the organization is currently uncertain. Mac had previously stated: "Neo's (Fabien Devide) been quite frank [...] If we crash out in 7th again, that won't be enough."
A tough year for Vitality
Vitality’s 2025 season was rough. The team went through multiple roster adjustments — starting the year with Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov in the support role, followed by an unsuccessful attempt to role swap Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, and eventually promoting Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz, who showed glimpses of progress but failed to bring real consistency. Heading into 2026, only two players are currently locked in: Turkish toplaner Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan and Lithuanian jungler Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas.
