All rarity levels in Riftbound
Riftbound, Riot Games' TCG set in the League of Legends universe, features five distinct rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and a last tier featuring Alternate Art and Overnubered. Each tier is identifiable by a symbol at the bottom center of every card and by the color of the ornamental border.
The debut set, Origins, comprises 377 unique items, divided between 298 base entries and additional Overnumbered versions. The collection will be available in China since August 1, while the English edition is set to launch worldwide in October 2025.
Booster Pack Rates in Riftbound
Each Riftbound booster contains 14 cards, broken down as follows: seven commons, three uncommons, one foil (of any rarity), two flex slots (at least Rare), plus one token or mana card. According to Riot Games, this layout is designed to balance accessibility for gameplay while maintaining the collectability of higher rarities.
Drop rates are also defined at the box level. Each sealed box of 24 boosters is expected to include two alternate art versions, one in three boxes should contain an Overnumbered card, and only one in 30 will house a rare signed edition. The 24 champions available in alternate art form will be marked with an “A” next to their collection number.

What Are Overnumbered Cards in Riftbound?
Overnumbered editions, those numbered above 298, represent the highest tier in the rarity structure. These ultra-limited releases feature exclusive artwork and will only be unveiled once discovered by the community itself. Even more coveted are the signature variants: one in ten Overnumbered units will feature the artist’s authentic signature, distinguishable by an asterisk in its serial number. On average, collectors will need to open approximately 360 boosters to pull a signed version.
