Project Conquerors (PCS Stride) has acquired the roster of Lautaro "
ajg" Gusinsky, Sergio "
AtomiK" Cortés, Ivan "
Dorito" Jiménez ahead of the
Rocket League 2026 World Championship. Under the pseudonym
Mate y Tapa, the Spanish speaking lineup qualified for the event through the
European RLCS Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), defeating Volare 4-3 in the grand finals.
Mate y Tapa formed in June during the build-up to the European LCQ when AtomiK linked up with long-standing Synergy duo Dorito and ajg, replacing fellow countryman Raimon "Rxii" Falgueras Torrent. The move reunited AtomiK and Dorito, who reached the RLCS 2022-23 World Championship together with G1. PCS Stride always planned to support the trio for the Esports World Cup LCQ, but have now signed the team fully so they are represented at the 2026 World Championship. Mathieu "Mat." J, Charles "Mozzarella" Magniez, and Keever "Smokez" Ryan make way for the new team, having earned a 9th-12th place finish in the LCQ under the French organization.
