Kings of LTA South, they arrive as the region’s 2nd seed for Brazil’s fourth Worlds Main Event
The League of Legends 2025 World Championship kicks off in Beijing on the 14th of October. A total of 17 teams will compete to, again, succeed T1 at the top of the Riot Games MOBA world hierarchy. On this occasion, Sheep Esports brings you a daily feature on one of the teams taking part. On October 1st, the second episode of our series focuses on Vivo Keyd Stars.
The LTA South enters Worlds 2025 as clear underdogs. But they carry the story of a region that has never had much to lose at Worlds, always seen as one of the weaker regions. This year, Brazil sends a team that fought hard against North American opponents to prove themselves and claim the second seed from the newly formed Americas region.
Their best year to date
VKS is the fifth Brazilian organization to reach Worlds (after paiN Gaming, LOUD, KaBuM!, and INTZ), but only the fourth to reach the Main Event. The last time was paiN Gaming’s historic run in 2024. This time, Keyd comes without pressure, only aiming to represent Brazil with pride and challenge the strongest teams in the world.
Vivo Keyd Stars had a year of steady growth in the LTA South. From finishing 7th–8th in Split 1, then 4th in Split 2, they went on to reach the LTA playoff finals. Along the way, they upset 100 Thieves before falling to FlyQuest, which secured their place at Worlds 2025 as the region’s second seed.
The club also carries deep roots in Latin American esports. Originally known as Vivo Keyd, they merged with Stars Horizon, creating a project that reflects Brazil’s competitive history. While South America has long struggled internationally, recent results show real progress. And even though South America benefited this year from the rebranding of the LTA and its mixed format with the former LCS region,
Under coach Christopher "SeeEl" Lee, the squad has worked on cohesion and discipline. Even with little international experience—only Jeong "Mireu" Jo-bin and Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus have played abroad before—they reached the LTA finals by convincingly taking down 100 Thieves. Their run marks them as a rising team, ready to test themselves against the global elite.
Mireu and Trymbi return to the international stage
The roster of Vivo Keyd Stars averages around 23 years old, a mix of young talent and growing international experience. The arrival of Mireu in the midlane and the leadership of iconic European support Trymbi have given the team a new balance, combining strong carry potential with reliable playmaking. These two qualities that now carry Brazil’s hopes into Worlds 2025.

Mireu is chasing redemption. After competing internationally with Rainbow7 at Worlds and MSI 2023, he had to go through stints in the LFL with Gentle Mates, the TCL, and LTA South before earning another shot on the global stage. Since joining the team in Split 3, he has quickly established himself as their primary carry and arguably their most vital player.
Previously with Isurus Estral, he adopted a more aggressive, damage-oriented style this Split. His impact is highlighted by dominant laning phases, nearly 70% kill participation, and impressive resource efficiency with a 1.79 ROI. Beyond the numbers, he is also the best midlaner of the league, attested by him being a part of the LTA South All pro team alongside Pedro Arthur "Disamis" Gonçalves, Matheus "Morttheus" Motta, and Trymbi.
Meanwhile, Trymbi brings experience and structure to the squad as one of the better-known Western supports. His sharp vision control and proactive map play allow Vivo Keyd Stars to dictate the pace of matches. With 78% kill participation and one of the highest vision efficiency scores in the region, he is the main element to create plays and allows the team’s setup around objectives. His synergy with Disamis and Morttheus shapes the backbone of their playstyle, establishing him as both the enabler and the shot caller of the team.
