The skins celebrating T1âs victory at
Worlds 2024 were released on August 26 on the Public Beta Environment (PBE). They'll available to all players with patch 25.18, set to go live on Wednesday, Sep 10. The six champions are
Gnar for Choi "
Zeus" Woo-je,
Vi for Mun "
Oner" Hyeon-jun,
Yone and
Sylas for Worlds Finals MVP Lee "
Faker" Sang-hyeok,
Varus for Lee "
Gumayusi" Min-hyeong, and
Pyke for Ryu "
Keria" Min-seok. Each skin comes with a unique recall animation that references the playersâ iconic celebrations or memorable moments from Worlds.
The recall animation of the two-time World Champion AD carry features two references. First,
Varus fires an arrow to slay Baron Nashor, refering to the clutch steals Gumayusi pulled off to secure crucial objectives that seemed impossible for T1 in certain games. Then,
Varus grabs a croissant and takes a bite. After the Worlds quarterfinals in Paris, where Gumayusi delivered a huge performance against Gen.G,
Laure ValĂ©e brought a croissant on stage during the post-match interview. Gumayusi ate it, gave a thumbs-up to the French crowd, and said â
itâs good,â sending the audience into a frenzy.
For Gnarâs recall, he grabs the Summonerâs Cup and bumps his head against it, with with Zeusâ glasses on . This references the toplaner who, during the trophy lift following the victory over Bilibili Gaming in the final, accidentally hit his head and had to briefly leave the stage to make sure everything was fine. Onerâs Vi turns her back and puts on the T1 jacket with his name written across it in his own signature style, while Fakerâs Yone makes a shush gesture with his finger on his lips â the iconic celebration and pose of the five-time World Champion midlaner.
This is the second time ZOFGK, T1âs World Champion roster, has received skins. After their 2023 victory, Zeus got two skins on Jayce, Oner chose Lee Sin and included the jacket celebration, Faker picked Orianna, and their botlane champions chose Jinx and Bard.
This will be Fakerâs ninth skin in the game â he now has more skins than 57 champions. The GOAT likely isnât stopping here, having
extended his contract with T1 through 2029.
