"After three months of treatment, I am able to play League of Legends for 10 hours a day again."
French midlaner Loïc "Toucouille" Dubois has shared uplifting news with his community, just months after announcing his break from esports due to a rare neurological condition. On September 23, the former LTA South, LCS, and LFL player announced that, following several months of treatment, he feels fit enough to return to high-intensity training, reigniting hopes of a professional comeback.
Toucouille revealed that he can now sustain playing League for ten hours a day. Fueled by renewed strength, he dreams of returning to the professional competitive scene and will dedicate the upcoming weeks to training and regaining his top form.
A journey of resilience
Toucouille has built a solid career as a midlaner primarily in regional leagues such as the French LFL and the Latin American LTA, with stints in the North American LCS, where he competed at the highest level. Over the years, he has been recognized for his strong mechanical skills and consistency, contributing to teams like FlyQuest, Team GO, and more recently Vivo Keyd Stars. While he has not secured major international titles yet, his steady presence in competitive rosters has made him a respected figure in these leagues.
Following his recent health challenges and treatment, Toucouille has expressed his intention to resume training and gauge his competitive level in the coming weeks. Although no formal announcements have been made regarding potential team affiliations, this step signals his interest in returning to professional play after an unwanted yet mandatory break. His career so far suggests that any opportunities would likely involve regional leagues where he has previously found success and familiarity, but so far, he seems to still be affiliated with Ilha das Lendas in Brazil.
