In a recent livestream, retired legend jungler Han "Peanut" Wang-ho reacted to Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun’s contract extension with T1 through 2028. The LCK legend revealed that he had spoken with the reigning three-time World Champion and advised him to spend his entire career at T1, “When I met Hyeon-jun (oner) after Worlds ended, I told him he has to keep going—absolutely. Stay a one-club man no matter what.”

An article on the Korean site Daum revealed that T1 had made their contract extension offer before the team traveled to China for the 2025 World Championship, which they went on to win. T1 General Manager Jeong "becker" Hoi-yoon confirmed this approach, stating, "We want him to stay with T1 for as long as possible."

A Franchise Player

Park Jae-seok, CEO of Shadow Corporation (Oner’s agency), remarked, "Mun only had eyes for T1 from the start... His next goal is to be selected for the national team for the Asian Games, and we will do our best to support him in achieving that." This is something Oner himself has mentioned—playing for South Korea at the Asian Games is clearly a goal, a side quest that would also grant him military exemption if he wins the competition.
