Soboro has already played a Bo3 in the LCK… also against T1
Another mid-season roster change is on the horizon in the LCK, following similar moves by T1, KT Rolster, DRX, and Nongshim RedForce. According to the match sheet released by kenzi on X this Thursday, Lim “Soboro” Seong-min will be stepping in for Song “Clear” Hyeon-min in the toplane for BFX, just as they are set to take on the reigning back-to-back world champions.
Soboro made his debut on the South Korean circuit in 2021 through the LCK Academy Series, the nation’s third-tier competition. He was promoted to the second division, the LCK Challengers League, in 2022 with Brion Challengers. That same year, he also had the opportunity to appear once in the LCK's main stage—coincidentally, against T1. However, it was a rough initiation. He was outmatched by Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, finishing the first game with a 1/3/0 scoreline on Gangplank, and the second game with a crushing 0/8/0 on Graves. Both games ended in under 20 minutes.
Clear’s Struggles
Following his stint with BRO, the toplaner ventured abroad in 2023, joining the Turkish league (TCL) under Galakticos' banner, but without notable success. He returned to Korea the following season, reclaiming a spot in the LCK CL where he has now spent over a year playing with FearX’s academy squad, FearX Youth. The team is currently performing fairly well in the second division, sitting third in the regular season standings with nine wins and six losses.
In the LCK, however, BFX has faced more difficulties, having a record of five wins and nine losses. While the official reason behind this roster move remains undisclosed, Clear’s recent performances have left much to be desired. According to Sheep Stats, he ranks only eighth among LCK toplaners, with a Sheep Score of 59 out of 100.

Notably, he has one of the lowest Kill Participation in his position (ninth among toplaners at 55%), along with relatively poor figures in Damage per Minute (596.61) and average Kills per game (2.53). This is particularly striking given that his most-played champions are carry-oriented picks: six games on Jayce and Rumble, five on Jax, and four on Gwen.
