For their first split competing in the LCS in almost ten years, Sentinels' roster mixes veterans with shining resumes, imports eager to seize their potential, and one defiant challenger
Though 2025 was the year 100 Thieves relinquished their provisional guest slot, their last season participating in League of Legends will always be remembered by fans as a very competitive showing at this year’s World Championship. It was during Worlds that Sentinels announced their incursion into the LoL North American scene ahead of the return of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
Sentinels know the stakes of competing in North America’s top-tier championship. Phoenix1 might ring a bell to tenured LCS fans, an organization that competed almost ten years ago before franchising arrived in North America. Sentinels will try to best P1’s 3rd-place finish in 2017 by bringing 100T former Head Coach: Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer.
Goldenglue coached 100 Thieves for two seasons, playing two finals and qualifying for both World Championships. He is considered one of the main factors in 100 Thieves’ revival during the latter half of both 2024 and 2025. As assistant coach, Sentinels brought former Luminosity Gaming's Head Coach Mervin-Angelo "Dayos" Lechica.
Korean Defenses
SEN’s first LoL roster in almost a decade will rely on two of North America’s most experienced players, who combined add nineLCS Championships. Korean toplaner Jeong “Impact” Eon-young’s contract wasn’t renewed by Team Liquid, and SEN didn’t hesitate to bring him in.
Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun will be one of three players who leave Disguised to join SEN. Goldenglue and huhi have some history together as they were teammates in Golden Guardians during Spring 2020. This duo of Korean players with NA residency will be the backbone of this team.
Korean Artillery
The second former DSG player is Cho “Rahel” Min-seong. Rahel arrived during Split 3 after one year competing at SK Gaming in EMEA. When the botlaner’s previous team decided to bench him, DSG picked him up, and their results improved compared to their first two splits, even helping retain its LCS slot before accepting SEN’s offer.
SEN fans should be excited about their second import Ham “HamBak” Yoo-jin. The 22-year-old last played for OKSavings Bank BRION in the LCK, where he secured an upset victory at the 2024 KeSPA Cup. This will be the jungler’s first experience away from Korea’s LoL ecosystem, where he was part of one of the most dominant rosters in LCK Challengers history.
Native Talent
The third and final player joining SEN from DSG is Isaac “DARKWINGS” Chou, rounding out the roster. The 25-year-old midlaner has been a mainstay of the North American Challengers League and was finally given a shot in LCS when he joined at the same time as teammate Rahel. DARKWINGS is ready to prove doubters wrong by cementing his spot as a strong native midlaner.
