Yukino had a very strong Summer Split with Karmine Corp Blue, which has fans eager to see him stay
Johnny “Yukino” Dang is having a huge summer split with Karmine Corp Blue, especially since the start of the EMEA Masters. The 19-year-old American jungler has become a fan favorite for the French organization’s supporters, who have started a wave of social media posts portraying him as a terrible player, in an effort to discourage other teams from contacting him. Even the official French broadcaster, OTP, made a slide during a preshow showing Yukino’s “bad” stats to support the Karmine fans’ initiative.
Other fans had fun making posts suggesting he’d join various teams for astronomical sums, one of which involved Sentinels. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, the American organization will join Riot Games’ League of Legends circuit in the LCS next year. That particular post caught the attention of the team’s CEO, Rob Moore, who replied in a quote: “Everyone should block Rayan and Black Horse for making up ridiculous stories. We haven’t contacted any org about any player.”
The offseason and LEC 2026 kickoff
The offseason is in full swing despite the ongoing Worlds and EMEA Masters. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, KCB’s roster is already taking shape, with Kamil “Kamiloo” Haudegond in mid, and Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu as AD Carry — the toplane, jungle and support roles are still to be decided.
Karmine Corp Blue is currently in the grand final of the EMEA Masters Summer Split, having just swept Los Ratones, the reigning two-time champions, with a standout performance from Yukino. Next year, the LEC Winter Split will take the form of a kickoff tournament, including Los Ratones and the Summer champions. If academy teams are allowed, KCB could very well compete in the split and aim to qualify for First Stand 2026.
