Riot Games rewards a super dedicated player with a super rare skin
Rohan "RohanGod" Sharma is a gamer known for his achievements across a number of titles, especially ones by Riot Games. Having reached Challenger in League of Legends, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics, as well as Master in Legends of Runeterra and Radiant in VALORANT, RohanGod’s commitment to inter-game ladder-climbing is evident. Now, Riot Games has rewarded RohanGod for his effort with a skin for his LoL main, Riven: one of the rarest skins in the whole game.
Rare skin, rare player
That skin is Worlds 2012 Riven, released over twelve years ago, and once obtainable by purchasing a ticket to its namesake event, Worlds 2012. Since this event ended, Worlds 2012 Riven has been disabled in the shop, and can’t be found as loot either, making it almost completely unavailable. A rereleased version, Reignited Riven Worlds 2012, was added in 2016, but the original skin has yet to return. But for RohanGod, who stated on social media that he wanted “this skin more than anything in gaming,” the Riven skin is finally his.
RohanGod asked Riot Games to gift him the skin after seeing a similar reward granted to the streamer Drututt, who was given Silver Kayle, an even rarer skin, after reaching Challenger rank on six roles. Riot promptly delivered, giving one of their biggest fans and most committed rank-climbers a truly unique skin to match.
